Mingling with the wind
My breath and my thoughts
Outpouring to the sky, the earth
Up past the trees and over mountains
Caressing flowers and the mane of a wild horse
Prayers of my soul
Longings of my heart
Hope I've held close for so long
Warrior words, heartbroken cries
My God, Oh God, Dear God
Can I hear you
Please hear me
In holy places
Constantly in my mind, these one sided conversations
Needing to stop and wait
Knowing your answers always come
And sometimes it takes a life time
