Professional Wedding Photos Part Four

  Here are the last of the photos of this lovely day. My daughter's husband has nine siblings and my daughter has five siblings. My daughter also has a large extended family all her own. I don't include photos of this but the family photo section of the wedding had to be done quickly because of the sheer volume of family to photograph!

 

 There was no alcohol at the wedding but there was dancing and it was so fun! It was a great way to end off such a memorable and lovely day!

Professional Wedding Photos Part Three

  The weather report for the wedding day was questionable and the ceremony was outside with no real backup plan. During the set up for the wedding it poured rain and I had packed a few towels for chairs to be dried with in case that happened.  I am a realist and had been saying for days that the wedding day was supposed to hold rain and everyone shut me down. The weather ended up being perfect for a wedding. There was rain but not too much, it was cool and overcast and moody, but bright enough to feel the joy and majesty of the day. No one overheated. We did not need the fans I purchased, but we did need the umbrellas I purchased! I tried to think of so many details and so many moments!

There were six grandmother's at this wedding ~ two of them honorary. It was very special.

Professional Wedding Photos Part Two

 Getting ready for a wedding ~ Getting ready for this massive life shift and change. Getting ready. I've never been very good at managing change, and change that comes rushing in like some sort of hurricane? I don't cope very well. The photos I am going to post are very meaningful. My oldest is adopted and hers and my relationship has been fragile. I didn't have time to get fully ready for these photos and I just kept thinking, 'I'm not ready,' and I felt so ashamed.  How often have I felt like this? It has been a central theme in my life....I'm just not ready and I'm so ashamed. However in these photos you can see that although I was not ready; there was still so much beauty. This message is the story of my life. Rarely am I or have I been ready for what life has to throw me and always through it all there is beauty to capture, and treasure, and see!
