Time In The Garden

If you have spent time in a vegetable or flower garden you know the healing power that it holds. While on this trip I spent a bit of time in my friend's vegetable garden and it brought back so many many memories of the garden's my dad and mom grew, the gardens my grandparent's grew, and the gardens my husband and I first had when we were newly married. Gardens are important, growing life is important. Seeing the miracle that comes from tiny tiny seeds is miraculous and new every time. My friend and her parent's tend this garden together and it is absolutely breath taking.

Since moving onto the property they have planted many fruit trees in hopes that they will enjoy this property together as a family for years to come.

These were just so incredibly delicious.

  1. Beautiful!
What's their trick to good strawberries? My plants produce tons but they all rot before I can enjoy them. Do I need to put bark mulch under them? Thank you in advance!

    1. I wish I knew. I think they need to have lots of sun and be picked as soon as they get pretty ripe. The sun is probably the trick!
