A Little Place To Cry

Do you have a place you go to cry? I do. It is also the place I like to go to eat Sushi :) So I guess it works for everything!

I found this little poem I wrote back in 2014 and I thought I'd record it here.

There is a beautiful place I go
Where the Swallows fly high
And then dip low
A field so green
A sunset fair
I like to go and cry there
Yellow plums ripen on a tree
Pasturing cows for company
Vast expanse of field and sky
Accompany as I cy
Mountains and a wooden fence
A long straight road
Where I found romance
So many tears  have shed
I fear they are all a waste
I've been misled.

This is where it stopped and I've never finished it

This particular spot calls to me. There is a curve in the road where I park my vehicle and behind me is a pond with a bridge across it. Beside me a pasture of cows happily grazing, across from me and old wood fence with tall gnarled apple trees and a long straight road stretches ahead. I can see the mountain where I have happy memories and so much sky and I feel like I can breathe there.

Anyway I haven't been there for a while...to cry or eat Sushi. If you have a spot you go that you love feel free to share it with me in the comments xo

  1. I love this so much! I don't have one which is why I don't cry a lot or I smother my crying.
