October is here and that means Autumn weather should be heavy upon us (here that means a lot of rain) but we have not had a drop of rain in a few months. There are wild fires around and since we are surrounded by mountains here the smoke is trapped and has become thick and choking. It makes for some stunning sunsets and a weird looking sun and awful air quality. We need rain. We still are using air conditioning at times and it is mid October! However, I know the rain will come as it always does and we will be grateful.
