Spring Planting

My husband decided to plant a large garden this year at his parent's home as they have an acreage not far from our home. He got the children involved. I planted some seeds in our garden at home and I don't know if a single one has come up which made me sigh a little. However, the garden at his parent's house is already starting prolifically, which is exciting. I admit to being a tad nervous about harvest time. Will we actually process it all? I mean my husband is a dreamer and a visionary and he starts things really well. I have realized I usually am the one that needs to nag him to a finish line of sorts. I told him right off the bat though that this year I would not be doing anything like that. What he has started, well, he must also finish. So we shall see! Gardens are always so full of promise and hope. May the rains come when they are needed, may the sun do its best work.

Happy June :)
