Here I am
And not often am I here
At early morn
My bones surprisingly supple today
My mind not as dim
And the sun suddenly blazed over the cornfield
As it crested the mountain
Catching me off guard
Prompting a smile
And I can see a freshly bloomed
Deeply blushed Rose
Just one
From my couch out my window
It is the tallest one
And I quietly stepped outside
To listen
To pet the cats warm and snuggled
To hear the baby chicks peeping contentedly
To their mother
These are the moments
Being human
Seems okay
