April

  Welcome April ~ The weather has been a disappointment in our fair country I think. Most people spend much of their life inside buildings now and so grey rainy days that are bone chillingly cold are expected in November, December, January, and February for sure! By March we are starting to hope for sun and some warmth and this year we had a couple days where we could have gotten sunburned and from then on it has been cold enough for warm coats and the heat on in the house. There is fresh snow falling all over the country and hearts are feeling more than a bit of despair.

  However as I look out my window (I live close to the coast) I see fresh leaves starting to come out and there are flowers everywhere! It is beautiful and so inspiring but the lack of sun leaves this lifeless feeling. I want to feel alive and warm!

   So here is hoping that Spring sun will come soon to stay. When my parents got married thirty seven years ago on April 11th it snowed...Spring is a finicky season, desperately longed for, and not taken forgranted!

  We just finished Spring break here and getting back into the swing of homeschool is not so easy. I have exactly two months left to get everything done with the children in regards to curriculum!!!! Here we go...
