Storm

We had a true November storm. We are so blessed here and we rarely have any weather that has anything to do with crazy. Sure SOMETIMES we get some ice in the winter or some snow but other than that we sometimes feel a bit of anxiety about the river flooding but it hasn't in a long time and so this storm was major news. Some people are still without power and its been two days. That is a big deal around here. It was eighty kilometre an hour winds. I went out in it for a while to clean the rabbit cage and make sure she was comfy during the duration of the storm. Mighty wind like that is amazing to witness. It has such intense power. I was worried our trampoline might take flight but it did not. Our power went out for a little while but it was only for the afternoon. We lit candles and read stories. Our experience was sort of fun. Others had horrible experiences and lost parts of their roof or had cars smashed and other things. During this storm MOST of the Autumn leaves could not hold on and November is now naked. I feel a bit sad because the fall colours have been so pretty this year and I wanted them to last forever. However now the mountains have their dusting of snow and today as the sky is clear and blue they look so majestic and regal. Here what the storm did to the trees.
