The Craft Fair at the Senior's Home
I took my two middle children to a craft fair at their great grandfather's senior's home. It was a hearts delight. My five year old found a snow globe right off the bat that she fell in love with. For some reason she had written snow globe on her Christmas list (I didn't even know she knew what that was)...and there it was. My eight year old son found a bracelet made by women in Africa out of rolled up paper. He has been wearing it for days now. I found more of the little bells made of beads, I found hand croched kitchen clothes, a green tuque that was perfect for my one year old, hand knit socks, and other little treasures. I also bought a dark pumpkin loaf full of juicy raisins and melt in your mouth short bread cookies. The prices for everything were ridiculously low. I feel like there is no way those ladies were making any money. They melted my heart with their kind words and sweetness to my children. We had a special time and came away feeling blessed and loved. It made me miss my grandma's so much. They both would have been so happy that morning at that craft fair.

This one made me cry - I miss grandma and granny. They were so different and yet had such sweet hearts. In their hearts they were quite similar I think.
