Dream

  'There are other dreams that come to you'

  I love that quote.

  Sometimes as we go along our eyes are turned down and maybe its the eyes of our soul. We might be so focused or overwhelmed just going along, and one day we lift up our eyes and they are reopened and we realize we have realized all our dreams or our dreams have been lost...and we realize we should dream again. Yet maybe we have been so wrapped up in what consumed our daily moments that we feel we don't know ourselves. That is okay you know? People change. The world around us in a constant state of change. It can feel like a vortex sometimes. The stepping out into an open field, the act of sitting by a body of water, the feeling of walking among tall trees whatever it is that truly helps the spinning to slow. Then it is the process of quieting your thoughts and remembering how far you have come or fallen and taking time to refocus, renew, re get to know...you.

  There are very specific unique things that make you feel alive. It could be so many things and to renew that knowledge, to give yourself permission to give that gift to yourself makes such a difference. If you have been consumed by what you do every day to make a means to pay your bills, if you have been consumed by giving every drop of yourself to others so that they can live better, that is good! GOOD! However there are parts of us that must be nurtured and allowed to live well with full breaths and openness of spirit that is renewing and fulfilling.

  I am finding the rain hard as of late. The falling snow is peaceful, the bright sun renewing, the rain feels bone chilling and ahhhh I am not loving it at all.

  The endless grey, the edgy ill children that feel constrained, me not being enough for everyone...I can be more if I feel like I am a dreamer, that I have meaning, that I am precious.

  So off I go to start another day and I am not sure how it will be a day where dreams come to me but somehow it will be.
