How are you? It is almost Friday ~ that first September week is over. Are you seeing some leaves turning colors? Are you feeling ready for cooler days? We have had so much smoke hanging, filling the air, it has been intense. It has kept a bit of the heat at bay. We are desperate for rain ~ still. We are also in our first week of homeschool. This year I will be doing a good amount of driving here and there to take children to different activities. I feel like I have a pretty good schedule figured out and I am hopeful I can manage all I need to. I will at some point write about what homeschool is looking like in our home this year but as of right now I am still not totally sure :)!!!!!!
Big news for us though.......Since moving into this house in December we have been...well not we... my HUSBAND, has been renovating our basement. It has been a massive undertaking but as of this weekend a two bedroom suite has been put in and renters are moving in. In our last house we had a two bedroom suite but my husband's cousins lived in it the whole time. This time it is not family moving in. I feel nervous about it all and am hoping for the best. I am used to a full house however and ours will now hold nine. We also have someone moving onto our driveway in a month and a half to live in a van they are making into a tiny house. SO...that will make it ten. This house was built by a couple who lived here for forty years. They never had children. Now this house will hold four children and six adults. The driveway will have a large van, trailer, truck, van and two cars and a scooter. We will be bursting at the seams in all ways good!
