I live about a five minute walk from this river and one evening I was driving home and caught a glimpse of the sun hitting the trees. I got my camera and tried to capture it. I mostly missed the moment but was still thankful to catch a bit of that magic.
I wish you could see this in person. The leaves are so new and such a delicate hue of green and there is the dark green of the Evergreens behind and then deep blue of the farther mountains behind that and it takes your breath away!
My tulips have been such a wonderful surprise this year!!
